[This post is part of a series on my month-long experiment with Soylent. See the original post for an introduction.]
Today, I went out to dinner with a friend and had a restaurant-sized cheeseburger. I normally have a bottomless pit of a stomach, but this filled me up to the point of being uncomfortable. My hypothesis is that I've gotten used to not eating a large amount at a time. Because Soylent is a liquid, it is absorbed immediately, and thus must be consumed bit by bit during the day. Thus, over the course of the past few days, my stomach has never been particularly full. I guess I've gotten used to it.
I also didn't even finish the leftover Soylent from last night (there was about a fifth of a day's worth), let alone make a new pitcher. I'll be curious to see if I wake up very hungry tomorrow (or have more after posting this article and before going to bed).
